The Southeast College provides numerous training opportunities from basic education to university and technical training. The College serves many business and industry stakeholders by offering numerous business, safety, and industrial programs and courses. The Southeast College partners with industry professionals to tailor course offerings to the workforce needs. Estevan students pursue studies mainly in Engineering and Related Technology, Business, Management and Public Administration and Health and Related Fields.

 

Estevan Comprehensive School (ECS)

Excellence, commitment and success represent the character of ECS. The school offers a variety of classes in traditional subject areas, athletics, trades, artistic and business.
The business program includes: Career and Work Exploration, Entrepreneurship, Information Processing, Personal Finance and Accounting. In the Entrepreneurship 30 class, students create their own business, do market research, develop a business plan, carry out the operation and either sell or liquidate the business at the end of the semester. Students are 100% in charge of their business and lean on the support of their teacher, facilitators and members of the business community for mentorship and support. This class has sparked provincial awards and national nominations, and has produced many leadership and scholarship opportunities for students.
